President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu increased minimum wage from 30 000 Naira to 70 000 Naira per month.

The new wage marks an increase of 133% from the Western African country’s previous minimum wage.

Tinubu was elected the 16th President of Nigeria in May 2023 after winning elections.
